Congratulations to Ondine and the rest of the amazing GB junior team mates, Phoebe Jakubczyk, Amelie Morgan, Halle Hilton and Annie Young, for winning team bronze at the European Championships! It is an amazing achievement just to get to the European Championships but even more so to win a medal.
During the last month, Ondine and her coach Mel, have been away from Sapphire training at Lilleshall National Sports Centre (home of British Gymnastics). This also included a weekend away competing in a five way international competition in Italy, where the team won the bronze medal.
All this intense training was in preparation for the 2018 European Championships, which took place on the 3rd August at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow.
Ondine had a fantastic competition, going clean on all four pieces. Out of the five juniors, Ondine was one of three girls to compete on all four pieces. Her individual score of 51.232 placed her 10th in all of Europe.
Ondine and Mel have made Sapphire very proud of their hard work and achievement.
