Recreational Members Notice

Dear all,

Firstly can we apologise for the delay in getting this information out to you all but we, as a team, have had to make a great number of decisions in a very short space of time.

I am mindful of striking the right tone in order to be able to reassure you all of the club’s future for all those affected by the position we now have to adopt in what are very troubling times for us all.

So…

We will be continuing all classes until the close of Sunday 22nd March. All classes, parties and trials will go ahead until this time.

This decision leaves two weeks left of term with no classes and two weeks of the Easter holidays. For those of you who have paid for these term time classes, we will make these up in the form of holiday classes as soon as we are able to re-open and we will be in touch as to how these can be redeemed when we have a clearer picture of what the immediate future holds.

All of you who have paid for parties or holiday classes will be contacted by the Sapphire team in the coming days.

Summer Term

We ask, politely, that those of you who are in a position to re-enrol for the summer term, do so by the extended date of 17th April. Currently, we do not know if the summer term will go ahead but to keep our cash flow moving and to enable us to keep as many people in jobs as possible, this course of action is the only one available to us. Should the Summer term be delayed or not go ahead, all payments will be refunded if the term is cancelled and if it is simply delayed then the payments for sessions that do not go ahead will be deferred to our Autumn term in the form of a credit so no-one will pay for classes that they do not participate in.

For the remaining four days, our promise to you is that we will continue with our high standards of virus prevention and ask you all to continue to follow the government guidelines regarding the prevention of the spread of the virus.

Please could you all be mindful that the staff are working very hard to answer everyone’s queries so if possible, please email the club so that we can keep the phone lines open where necessary.

Finally, our promise to you...

We will do everything in our power to secure the funds to enable us to weather this storm and be fully operational as soon as we have the green light to do so. We value your custom but more importantly, we are a community. We value every single gymnast, coach, parent and admin member which is why we will do everything in our power to ensure that Sapphire is a club of the future, despite these difficult times.

Please look after one another during these times of uncertainty.

Best Wishes
Sapphire Team
