National finals for the Sapphire boys!

Three young men’s artistic gymnasts from the Sapphire School of Gymnastics elite boys programme went to the national finals held at the Birmingham Gymnastics and Martial Arts Centre. There was fierce competition from the best across the country and the event demanded precise routines and exceptional talent to stand out. The national club grade divisions, was held on Friday with Alfred Hall of Sapphire competing at level 3. He was placed 43rd overall, but took the silver medal on the floor with a dynamic routine. Alfred was also part of the east region team who narrowly missed a medal position by just half a mark. Coach Matt Reynolds was back at the event again on Sunday with Theo Potton and Tobias Achampong who  were both competing in the Elite Level 2 division. The boys were members of the east region team that took the overall bronze medal and they gave strong individual performances and will have learnt a lot from the competition at the top of the sport for their ages.
